The VO65 teams are racing for The Ocean Race VO65 Sprint Cup, a new trophy awarded to the team with the best result over three stages of racing:

LEG 1: Alicante to Cabo Verde (start: 15th of January)

LEG 6: Aarhus to The Hague (start: 8th of June)

LEG 7: The Hague to Genova (start: 15th of June)

The Ambersail 2 crew is based around a core group of Lithuanian sailors with the collective goal of promoting their country on the international sporting stage.

The team is headed by Lithuanian London 2012 Olympian skipper Rokas Milevičius – who, when he raced aboard Team Brunel in 2014-15, became the first Lithuanian sailor to take part in The Ocean Race.

In 2021 the team competed in the inaugural edition of The Ocean Race Europe and the core of that crew – watch captains Saulius Pajarskas and Domantas Juškevičius, bowman Jonas Drąsutavičius, trimmer Wiktor Kobryn, and mainsail trimmer Deimantė Jarmalavičiūtė – have returned to contest The Ocean Race VO65 Sprint Cup.

Team’s strength lies in the collective unity and enthusiasm of its team members. As well as striving for the best possible result the Lithuanian squad is also racing with an aid mission for Ukraine. In cooperation with the "United 24" foundation established by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, Ambersail 2 team invites to contribute to the reconstruction of the war-ravaged Ukrainian country.
